Stainless Steel 304 304LTube is non-magnetic and offers great corrosion-resistance to both atmospheric exposures and chemical, with a high resistance to oxidation. Stainless Steel 304 304LPipe is however susceptible to corrosion from chloride notably saline environments, solutions with high amounts of sodium chloride (salt). ASTM A358 TP304 is a great choice for general stainless steel applications such as kitchen and building facades, food processing applications, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, liquid storage and tanks and other applications involving fresh water environments.
